Webinars

CFT Webinars combine the clarity of an audio teleconference with the interactivity and visual presentation of the internet.  A webinar offers you the convenience of attending a training session in your own facility.  You pay by the location, not by the person.  Webinars allow participants to ask questions, participate in live surveys, and see the slides as the seminar leader presents the material.

All you need to participate is a phone connection and an internet connection.  If you don’t have an internet connection, you can still participate in the audio (conference call) session and follow along with a printout of the slide presentation!

If you are unable to participate in the “live” webinar, you can purchase the recorded version.  You will receive a Weblink with unlimited playback of the original session (combined audio & visual via Windows Media Player) for six months, an audio CD (listen to the session without an internet connection), plus any of the original printed handouts.

Webinar topics range from regulatory compliance issues to teller operation issues and feature the industry’s best instructors.   All CFT webinar programs are specific to the financial services industry and attract employees and management personnel from a variety of banks and credit unions.

Commonly Asked Questions About Webinars

Is there a limit on the number of participants per location?  There is no limit, however only one audio and web connection is allowed per registrant.  A speaker phone and LCD projector can be used to accommodate multiple participants.

Can I connect from each branch or does everyone have to be at the same location?  The webinar price covers only one location, but you can add additional locations at a discounted price.  For more information, please call Scott Briggs at 800-795-5242, ext. 1180.

Are the webinars recorded and available for purchase?  All webinars are recorded, and the ”recorded webinar” package includes an audio CD, a copy of the handout(s), and six months of unlimited access to the audio/visual recording via a web link .

What is the difference between a webinar and a phone seminar?  Webinar participants will see the presenter’s slides in real time and the interactive website allows students to send questions to the instructor via a message board.  Presenters also have the ability to demonstrate software applications or go on a web tour if applicable.

How can all participants see one computer screen?  Most financial institutions will choose to project the computer image on to a larger screen using an LCD projector.
